Sir: March 23 is going to be a memorable nationwide day for Pakistanis as the National Anthem revives all our devotion and patriotism, and this piece of sacred music arouses zealous sentiments among us for dignity, faith and unity. March 23 is a day of resolution, a day of Pakistan’s freedom, and the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan, taken at the place of today’s Minar-e-Pakistan. Lahore is going to be celebrated tomorrow. The celebrations for this day include a full military and civilian parade in Islamabad, presided over by the President of Pakistan and held early in the morning. After the parade, the President confers national awards and medals in a ceremony at the presidency. Wreaths are also laid at the mausoleums of Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah. I hope that this day brings new ambition and prosperity to all Pakistanis and may all our problems and crises vanish as soon as possible.
