Rehman Malik

Author: Daily Times

Sir: According to news reports, the scanners purchased during PPP rule worth one billion rupees are lying as scrap — unfit for use. The former Interior Minister, Senator Rehman Malik, has said that an inquiry should be conducted by the Supreme Court (SC) and if found guilty he is willing to be hanged. Nothing will happen and this corruption if proved will be ignored as usual. However, let the present interior minister hold an inquiry through the Supreme Court to find out the truth. There are a number of cases of corruption that have been filed in the past. The government if it is sincere should start from somewhere. Let this be a test case.
