Sir: A recently released report by Henley and Partners on visa restrictions ranked Pakistan at 91, placing it with countries like Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistani passport holders enjoy visa-free travel to only 32 countries. Pakistan’s international standing has plummeted drastically because of the deteriorating security situation due to increasing terrorist attacks in the country.
Stringent visa restrictions mean Pakistan is gradually moving towards becoming a failed state.
The need of the hour is to improve Pakistan’s image in every possible way. For this everyone along with the government has to play its role. We have had enough of wars. The time has come to build ourselves and be proud of being Pakistanis.
