Pakistani scientists

Author:

Sir: Pakistani scientists are playing a leading role in the nuclear research at CERN, the European organisation for nuclear research. CERN’s spokesman Dr Tiziano said that Pakistani engineers, physicists, software engineers and technicians have been one of the major contributors to the development of Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS). Pakistani scientists have developed detector control system and testing of data quality. The monitoring of the system is the responsibility of the Pakistani team. The team has also built front and electronics for the CMS RG4 project and has played a lead role in installing and commissioning RP4.

It is highly appreciable that Pakistani scientists are contributing to this most important work.
