JACOBABAD: Jacobabad police claimed to have foiled a bid to smuggle a large amount of super high quality hashish and seized 84 kilograms of it during a raid close to Shambhay Shah Police picket at Indus highway in the limits of Saddar Police Station of Jacobabad, here on Saturday. According to Police, following on the information, a special team led by DSP Habib Shah, signaled a wagon to stop [BMA-207], that was coming from Balochistan towards Sindh, and seized 84 kilogram super quality hashish and succeeded in arresting an accused named Khalil Ahmed son of Bijar Khan by caste Brohi, resident of the capital of Balochistan. According to reports, police have registered a case against him at Saddar Police Station on the complaint of the state under relevant laws.
