Sir: We live in a society where people having money are held in high esteem. The more money a person has, the more he/she is respected. We live in a society where moral values such as honesty, integrity, modesty and tolerance have lost value to the glitter of wealth.
Everyone and everything in this society is carrying a price tag. Wisdom and intellect are the most dishonoured and devalued virtues. What can be the fate of such a society and system? I think other then reading books on history, literature and politics, there is no harm if the Quran is also read and understood.
