Turbat, a tale of woes

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Turbat is a well populated city of Balochistan and is also the divisional headquarter of Makran. The Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch belongs to Turbat. In spite of that, the city has been unable to pull itself out of social, political and economic alienation. The city gives the view of an old deserted village with no commutable roads, proper education or health facilities. There is a dearth of qualified teachers. The people of Turbat have been demanding paved roads, academic institutions and qualified teachers since long, but to no avail.
I urge the government to address the woes of the people of Turbat as soon as possible.
