Of housing societies

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Islamabad Capital Territory has approximately 74 unauthorized housing schemes in four different zones. These societies are looting innocent citizens in the name of hi-fi housing projects. As many as 27 illegal housing schemes are in Rawal Town and 44 in Potohar Town. These unauthorized housing societies are a question mark on the credibility of the government and its concerned departments. The Capital Development Authority is believed to be the best place of earning for corrupt officials. It approves housing societies’ plans by taking kickbacks.

The above-mentioned housing societies have minted millions of rupees in the name of construction, development and mosque charges, etc. I am writing these facts to help my other fellow citizens not to get trapped in the gimmicks of these housing schemes and beware of the property dealers.
