Sir: The saddest thing about the Israeli bombardment of Gaza is the eerie silence of the Muslim world. We may rage and shout about how the UN and western world is not showing much interest in the plight of the Palestinians but what about leaders of the Arabic world and even Pakistan? We are the first to react when there is a provocation against the Muslims and Islam but why are we so quiet right now? Do we not have the courage and might to stand up against Israel, much like the rest of the world?
