The Punjab government has doubled the admission fee for nine education boards including of Lahore.
The admission fee of the candidates of government and private educational institutions has been increased from Rs50 to Rs100.
Every year, more than 3.6 million students appeared in the examinations under these education boards across Punjab.
The new fee will be applicable from the academic year 2023.
