A Sikh gunned down

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Three people from the Sikh community were attacked on Wednesday in Peshawar. One of them died while the other two were critically injured. For the last couple of years Sikhs have been the target in Pakistan like other religious minorities.
Recent reports have shown that inducing fear has been used as a tactic by Pakistan’s fanatics to force the religious minorities to migrate.
Buldave Singh, a representative of the Sikh community from Peshawar said, “We fear for our lives, we are forced to relocate from the city of our forefathers. The government has failed to provide us security and our business has suffered due to such incidents.”
The NGO Life for All Pakistan strongly condemns the incident and demands the immediate arrest of the culprits.
