Sir: A large portion of University Road between University Silver Jubilee Gate and Safoora Chowrangi is badly damaged, having a number of potholes. My car was damaged along with some other vehicles when a mini-bus took a sharp turn to avoid a pothole.
University Road is an extremely busy road not only because of students heading for the campus but also because it serves as an alternative route to the airport. All lights on the road have remained out of order for the past 10 years. Despite having made many telephonic complaints on 1339, the city government has done nothing. The road is unsafe for driving during night.
I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter as soon as possible.
