Election reform

Author:

Sir: The new election reforms should include a provision to allow media reporters free access to all polling stations across Pakistan during the election. Newsmen should be issued special passes containing their photos.

Stations where more than 100 percent votes have been registered should have thumbprints and voters verified within a day. Moreover, as the police have failed to stop corruption at many polling stations, paramilitary or armed forces can be used for security and monitoring to keep the election process unbiased.
