Sir: Since the extensive makeover of the city’s main roads a few years ago, routes were elongated for an uninterrupted flow of traffic and short-cuts minimised. But this has not stopped Karachiites from outpacing their records of travelling time.
They go the wrong way via short-cuts dangerously (but with commendable confidence), which clogs up the opposing traffic, and often the standstill caused ends up wasting everybody’s time.
I urge my fellow citizens to be considerate, avoid the temptation of the wrong and take the longer but much safer route.
