? Save the future of our children

Author: Daily Times

Sir: I am writing this not only for me but on behalf of many other parents whose children study in Working Folks Grammar Schools. I am constantly in contact with other parents. Our children’s time is being wasted and ruined due to the perpetual unjust attitude of Workers Welfare Board, Khyber Pakhtunhwa (KP), against their teachers. Though most parents like me were previously satisfied with the performance of the teachers and studies of our children, we have been observing for the last three months that our children are losing interest in studies and we came to know from them about some facts after inquiring into the matter. They informed us that their teachers are uncertain about their jobs due to the denial of their due rights. Therefore the teachers have lost interest in teaching and cannot concentrate or teach satisfactorily as they used to do. I request the concerned authorities of Workers Welfare Board, KP, to solve the problems of the teachers of our children as soon as possible so that they may teach the students with their previous spirit and enthusiasm and save the future of our children from further damage.
