Sir: Even if the Pakistani cricket team has not been performing well for the last several seasons and has disappointed many, that does not mean the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should not charge tickets from spectators. Though spectator turn-out has been dwindling over the successive matches, people still come to see the game for entertainment. Moreover, Pakistani expats living in UAE are always eager to support their team. One is sure that despite the consistent defeats of their team, Pakistanis will show up in the upcoming Test series between Pakistan and Australia. As our own country has not seen international cricket since 2009 and the UAE has become our home ground, PCB should not let go of this opportunity. Charging people some money, on lower rates perhaps, is not a big deal, at least it is better than allowing free entry. I hope PCB takes up this advice and makes some money out of this tour.
