Hazara Motorway

Author: Daily Times

Sir: The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan has inaugurated a significant project, the Hazara Motorway, due to which the travel time between Islamabad to Havelian will be reduced to only 30 minutes. The reduced time and distance, besides bringing convenience to the public, will also carry positive economic implications. Although it is a good project and it is going to help the economy to a large extent, I think the government, instead of spending all its money on building roads and metro buses, should look into some welfare projects as well. The deteriorating condition of our health and education system is before us. It would be nice to see some money being spent on hospitals and schools.
