ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan criticised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for participating in the Riyadh Summit and not raising a voice for the country and protesting against the countless atrocities being committed in Kashmir.
He stated that the PM was a silent spectator as United States President Donald Trump labelled elected Palestinian representatives as ‘terrorists’ and even used the same words for Iran.
The PTI chief said “Nawaz Sharif had practised six hours for his speech at the Riyadh Summit but he wasn’t even invited to speak,” adding that “Why did Nawaz Sharif even go to Riyadh?”
Newly re-elected Iranian President Hasan Rouhani had tried to connect his country with the rest of the world but the Riyadh Summit was coincided to isolate Iran from the rest of the world and it was disappointing to see how Nawaz Sharif said nothing regarding this matter.
Imran also said that “The enemy of Israel was labelled as the terrorist,”.
