Sir: The whole nation shed blood tears when news broke of five-year-old Moeen, who was found hanging in a mosque. It was also confirmed that he had been sexually assaulted. The boy’s father, poverty-stricken Muhammad Yaseen, who is a painter by profession, lives in a one-room rented house along with his wife and nine other children. Moeen was the sixth among his siblings. The police have ensured that the culprits will be arrested and the family will get justice but this is just rhetoric. The police are experts in giving grieving families false hope. The harrowing question remains of just how many such boys have been molested in mosques over so many years.

It is requested that the culprit be arrested and hanged in the same way that he hung the innocent little boy.
