Cheating culture

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Malik Baloch has made a statement about eliminating the culture of cheating from the education system, which is really appreciable. Although it is a good decision but before taking any action against the cheating culture, the Chief Minister should first address the root causes. First of all, the government should take strict action against ghost teachers and arrange proper training of existing faculty in schools. So far, the government has not taken any step to raise the standard of the education system in Balochistan. Secondly, the deficiency of skilled teachers is also a cause of the promotion of the cheating culture. Hence, by taking initiatives to address the above two issues, the government will succeed in eliminating the cheating culture.
