Sir: I am a great lover of cricket and have been watching cricket matches for a long time. I have seen many all-rounders in the history of cricket, but I find Boom Boom Afridi my favourite all-rounder. He is known as one of the best all-rounders across the world. If we study cricket history, we find that he is a match winning player who can change the game anytime either through bat or ball. No doubt, he has been our darling since 1996 and he has always been there to help Pakistan win matches in difficult times. However, the decision of Afridi’s retirement from One Day Internation cricket after the World Cup has disappointed me and also a large number of his fans. After the retirement of Afridi, Pakistan’s cricket team will face a lot of problems, because it is not easy to substitute an outstanding player like Afridi. It will be impossible for Pakistan to find another all-rounder like Shahid Khan Afridi.
