Careless attitude

Author: Daily Times

Sir: During my recent visit to Lahore, I was shocked to learn from my relatives that a family friend’s son missed the Central Superior Services (CSS) 2015 examination paper of Pakistan Affairs. The reason was painful and based on our nation’s careless attitude. On the one hand, we blatantly violate rules and regulations and on the other, the incompetence of our guardians of the law creates a further mess. A container got stuck at Canal underpass due to which all traffic came to a standstill and nobody could reach his/her destination. It was sheer negligence of the container driver and the Traffic Police. Due to this accident, about 40 candidates missed their CSS paper as they failed to reach the examination hall in time. Would anyone pay attention and arrange the holding of the examination for these ill-fated students?
