Sir: The mesmerising celebrations of Pakistan Day throughout the country came as a swish of good news for stressed out people of the nation. The show of our strong military prowess along with the soft touch depiction of our cultural heritage was the proud feature of the Pakistan Day parade successfully held in Islamabad. To express similar national sentiments, the Azm-i- Pakistan parade was held in Lahore in which a large number of people participated. The appreciation and credit goes to our government and military leadership for giving the nation this wonderful opportunity of enlivening the national festivity. It is hoped that these celebrations will inaugurate the everlasting atmosphere of peace, festivities and development for our beloved motherland.
