KARACHI: Al-Quds University, Palestine and Pakistan’s leading research establishment International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi (UoK), have inked an Intent of Cooperation (IoC) to promote scientific and educational collaborative activities between the two institutions.
A senior official of the ICCBS, University of Karachi said on Monday that the IoC was signed in a meeting held at the National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt a week ago.
Director ICCBS-UoK Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary and President Al-Quds University Prof. Imad Abu Kishek signed the agreement on behalf of their institutions.
As per the agreement, both the organizations agree to promote exchange program which is based on their respective academic and educational needs, including joint educational and research activities, participation in conference and academic meetings, exchange of research scholars and staff, exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, exchange of academic information and materials and other academic exchange that both organizations agree to. The IoC should be reviewed by both institutions every three years.
