Sir: The country is in a tailspin with terrorism at an all time high and the people falling into the deep pit of poverty with alarming rapidity. In this less-than-desirable time, we have political parties quarreling with each other. Workers belonging to the MQM and PTI have clashed with each other in Karachi giving rise to severe tensions and rifts between the two parties. This is just what we need right now in the country: two political forces fighting each other when they should be standing together to fight the enemy of the state, the Taliban.
