Barriers-free Karachi

Author: Daily Times

It is commendable that the Sindh government has taken an initiative to remove barriers from the streets and roads in Karachi. In this regard, it is laudable that former president and Pakistan People’s Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has directed the removal of all barricades including a concrete wall on roads around Bilawal House. However, it would have been great if Asif Zardari had imparted these instructions before the Rangers’ intervention. The barricades installed at roads around Bilawal House were very annoying for the general public. Good to see that barriers are being removed from all over Karachi.
