Sir: A NASA probe that has circled Mercury for the past four years will make a dramatic death plunge onto the planet´s surface in late April when it will run out of fuel. Had the NASA engineers designed the probe’s fuel system on diesel, the death plunge could have been avoided, owing to the prayers by our religious scholar Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
