Sir: I would like to highlight the problem of land grabbing in Karachi. In this biggest city of Pakistan, land mafias are constructing illegal buildings and misusing vacant plots. It has become a common practice that vacant plots are used as marriage lawns by land grabbers. Many gypsy families who migrate to Karachi also settle in these plots. The workers of different political parties also make their offices on these plots. Moreover, the plots are used by drug peddlers and this situation is affecting the health of citizens. I request the City District Government Karachi to take strict action against all these activities.
