22 dead, 50 injured in Manchester blast

ISLAMABAD: In the United Kingdom, twenty-two people were killed and more than fifty others injured in a blast in Manchester city on Tuesday.

According to reports, Greater Manchester Police said that the explosion hit Manchester Arena where the US singer Ariana Grande had been performing. The cause of the explosion is unknown but it is being treated by police as a possible terrorist incident.

Manchester’s Victoria Railway Station which is close to the concert venue has been closed and all trains cancelled.
