Sir: The trend of fast food started in western countries but the people of Pakistan are now addicted also. Now it is common to see fast food restaurants in almost every area of every city. People, especially youngsters, prefer to have fast food instead of routine home-cooked meals such as vegetables and pulses. But due to these increased habits of fast food eating, many health issues have been reported.
According to medical staff, eating fast food can cause depression. Another big issue is that the high calories in these kinds of foods cause obesity problems, which in turn cause problems like heart disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, etc. To remain safe from all these kinds of problems and addiction to fast food, we should follow healthy food habits in our daily routine life.
