More of the same

Author: Daily Times

Sir: According to reports, Islamic State (IS) is recruiting young militants in Afghanistan. This must raise the flag of alarm for Pakistan because we are direct neighbours and will suffer the same fate as the people in that war-torn country. If IS is gaining a foothold there, it will gain one here too. The security agencies and law enforcement bodies must band together to prevent a spillover of the brutal IS threat.
We have enough problems of our own to have to worry about a Middle Eastern militant group digging its fangs into our hearts.
