A strong message

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the Afghan government to take action against the Taliban who are spreading terror. It clearly reflected that Pakistan denounces violence in its neighbouring country, which also affects the Pakistani nation. It is good to know that Pakistan is moving towards a change in its policy regarding Afghanistan and the leadership of both the countries is now willing to cooperate with each other. The message of the Prime Minister also confirms Pakistan’s strong efforts in fighting extremism and the fact that the government wishes much better relations with Afghanistan and is ready to work for the establishment of permanent peace in the war-torn country.
