Sir: I was surprised on discovering that Greece is on the verge of bankruptcy. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras looks sharp. It was disappointing that his team didn’t come up with a credible solution to the crisis. The increasing of taxes does look like a viable solution to an extent, but unpopular. It’s too huge an amount to settle through such extreme measures of taxation. They need a better plan without overtaxing the people that is bound to cause more than just disgruntlement. It is not just Greece that would suffer; it would have a distressing effect worldwide. They need a wake up call with a more sensible strategy.
