Zardari condoles death of PPP activist

ISLAMABAD – Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday expressed profound grief over the passing away of Malik Said Azam, brother of the PPP central executive member and former Peshawar Nazim Azam Afridi.

In a condolence message to his brother Azam Afridi Zardari paid tributes to late Malik Said Azam as “a committed democrat and a genuine political worker who will be remembered for a long time”. He said that for his democratic credentials and political struggle Malik Said Azam had made a name and place for himself in the party.

Asif Zardari prayed for eternal rest to the soul of late Malik Said Azam and patience to members of the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
