Police kill 4 terrorists in clashes across Karachi

KARACHI –Police killed four alleged terrorists and arrested six other suspects during separate targeted operations in Karachi areas of Mehmoodabad and Manghopir.

The local channel reported that late on Friday night shot dead 4 terrorists of outlawed organisations in various clashes with perpetrators across the city. Ammunition, suicide jackets and explosives material were recovered from the suspects.

The two terrorists were identified as Zain-ud-Din Mehsud and Murtaza alias Rizwan. It should be mentioned here that the two saboteurs were arrested in 2010 however they fled from the city court on June 19, 2010, according to police.

Police claimed that the terrorists were involved in killing police personnel and in collusion with their accessories, they also attacked police with gunfire and hand grenade. Meantime, two other terrorists belonging to outlawed outfit were killed in an armed encounter with the police in Mehmoodabad.
