In a single day, the price of one US dollar jumped by 70 paisas, reaching Rs160 against the Pakistani rupee. In the inter-bank trading on Friday, the dollar touched Rs160 mark after over two years. The previous day’s price of the US dollar was Rs159.30. Karachi forex dealers say since July this year, the American currency has increased by Rs2.46. Since July, the one-dollar rate has been increased from Rs157.54 to Rs160.
