The major cryptocurrencies went up on Friday amid more global acceptance. Bitcoin, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency, gained 0.73 percent to reach $58,255. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of the BTC has reached $1.08 trillion. Likewise, ethereum (ETH) gained 0.68 percent to reach $2,062. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH reached $237.8 billion. Similarly, binance coin (BNB) price gained 3.92 percent to reach $435. The market capitalisation of BNB stands at $67.1 billion after this increase. However, the price of tether (USDT) shed 0.02 percent to reach $1. The market capitalisation of the USTD stands at $43.8 billion after this decrease. Meanwhile, Millennium, the US-based alternative investment management firm, has become the latest hedge fund to get exposed to cryptocurrencies via Grayscale Investments’ bitcoin trust. However, the extent of Millennium’s exposure to the crypto asset has not been disclosed as both Millennium and Grayscale executives have refused to comment. Nevertheless, a report by The Street says two sources claiming to have knowledge of the deal have confirmed Millenium’s acquisition of the shares.
