The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has tightened the noose around singer Atif Aslam, it was reported on Tuesday. Sources said that following an audit, the FBR imposed a tax of Rs 58 million on the world renowned singer. Atif’s income tax for the year of 2018 was audited by FBR. According to sources, he has been given one month to pay the tax amount. If Atif fails to comply, his bank accounts will be frozen and recovery will be made.
