ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing and Works, Akram Khan Durrani, said on Tuesday that the government was considering a proposal to demolish government accommodations in Sector F-6/3. Speaking in the Senate during the question-hour, the minister said these flats were in a dilapidated condition and would be replaced with new ones. However, the minister revealed that there was no complaint received regarding the subletting of the allotted accommodation by any allottee of the accommodations in the said sector. He added that at a later stage, if any complaint was received, then action would be taken against the allottee under the relevant rules. He further said that the ministries and the divisions had been asked to furnish the details of hired buildings and as a result, he added.
