LAHORE: The upcoming series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played with fans inside the stadium after tickets went on sale for New Zealand’s cricket summer. New Zealand will host their first international series after the start of the coronavirus pandemic in November with a tour by West Indies. The two sides will clash in three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and two Tests. The Pakistan side is then scheduled to play three T20Is on December 18, 20 and 22 along with two Tests that will start on December 26 and January 3 respectively. Until now, international matches in the pandemic-hit world have taken place behind closed doors. Pakistan’s upcoming series against Zimbabwe will also be held with empty stands. New Zealand was one of the first countries to control the spread of the virus and will now boast the honor of hosting the first international match with a live crowd in these testing times.
