The situation is fluid enough, that it would be fair to say, extremism is rising in the region. But is it rising? Or is it being raised? The situations, such as the construction of a Hindu temple in the capital and the honour killing over an accusation of blasphemy are events, happening in a very short time span. They are indeed creating a split that is rigidly biased amongst the nation. India has just recently paid a decent toll for the Ladakh stand off. Pakistan on the other hand has not only managed to control the spread of COVID 19 virus in a way , appreciated by World health Organisation but also succeeded to dismantle a planned attack on the Karachi stock exchange building . Karachi is the jugular vein of Pakistan’s finances and hub of the country’s import -export businesses. Attack on its stock exchange building must be seen as a message by the enemy. At the same time , it should motivate us that Pakistan is prospering , as it has become important enough in the international economical market , that the countries have started working against it.Meanwhile, India is facing international pressure for the illegal lockdown on the innocent Kashmiris. It is quite obvious that the very foreign power would desire to spread instability, chaos and extremism in the region in such times where Pakistan is moving towards success. It would use all its muscles and brains in achieving this satanic target. Unity is the antidote to survive during the modern illness of propagation and cyber warfare. There have been a couple of more incidents that resulted in people debating against the government and it’s officials. The great Muslim conqueror, Salahuddin Ayubi said: “If you want a state to fall without a war, turn it’s nation against their own army.” The debates that got stirred due to the recent partisan incidents in the country, encouraged people in challenging the writ of the Government .It is worth mentioning that , the trend of speaking against government and the policy making institutions haven been witnessed in the same time .Being rigidly partisan and displaying intolerance towards an opposite mind-set and stance is the new cool for the millennial generation .Termites such as injustice , nepotism and corruption have played in the favour of the instigators of chaos .We should know that , day by day , Pakistan is being seen as a peace loving country in the international community . Meanwhile India is being seen as a fear mongering one. It is evident, that the enemy would do its utmost efforts in destabilising our country. Incidents in the region that result in people cutting hundred acres of plantation would be a milestone for the foreign powers working against Pakistan and her people. They would back and fund all the journalists, politicians and policy makers that are beholders of a heart that has lost in front of the materialistic things in this temporary life on earth. It is about time that us, Pakistanis, draw the line. We must revisit our social and moral values that our Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah advised us. Unity is the cure for all our issues. We must know that at the end of the day we are all Pakistanis and above all, we are all Muslims. Belonging to any political party should not hinder us in thinking this. We can have an opposite partisan opinion for any incident but it should not motivate us in becoming an instigator for the recent satanic events, come what may! Being loyal to the government is the need of the hour. We must play a role in spreading tranquillity in the region. Participating in social work such as charity brings humbleness in the society .It brings tolerance towards the members belonging to the opposite mind set. It also induces a sense of achievement that is productive and healthy for the country. Being cautious about the repercussions, of our actions, on the society would earn brownie points in staying United in today’s propagated world .Now, the war won’t be on the tanks, submarines or the aircrafts rather fought on the social platforms with minds. Staying on the giving end for the society would certainly benefit Pakistan, in the hindsight. Taking control over mind and emotions should be mastered. Make no mistake, Pakistan is on the road to become an important and a powerful country in the world and it will certainly succeed in this perilous journey, In Sha Allah. However, at the same time, we should always keep a vigilant eye on the incidents targeting the social values. We must not let the ‘ divide and rule ‘ doctrine damage us, again. Staying United in today’s divided modern world will be a triumph for the country.
