Capital Development Authority is all set to elevate Park Enclave as state of the art and model housing project in Islamabad. Concrete steps are being taken in this regard. Development work in Park Enclave-I is almost complete and CDA has now decided to hand over possession of remaining 52 plots to its allottees in the after Eid Holidays. Required ground work including development work and provision of civic amenities has been completed before handing over the possession. These allottees were waiting for possession of their plots for years. After completion of development work at Park Enclave-I, Capital Development Authority is now focusing on development of Park Enclave-II. For this purpose Capital Development Authority has decided to hire the services of a consultant so that Park Enclave-II may prove to be 21st century housing project containing all facilities and contemporary plan. Consultant will provide services to make Park Enclave-II an exemplary housing project. Going yet further for development of Park Enclave-I, Capital Development Authority has decided to contact Ministry of Foreign Affairs to approach Embassy of Morocco in Pakistan in the context that Morocco wanted to construct mosque in Park Enclave-I as goodwill gesture for Pakistan. This decision has been taken for the purpose that in case of no or delay from Morocco, Capital Development Authority may undertake construction of mosque at Park Enclave-I at its own expenditure. Capital Development Authority has further decided to sparkle aesthetics and improve horticulture at Park Enclave-I. For this purpose, concerned formations have been directed to undertake plantation drive in Park Enclave-I coinciding with currently undergoing seasonal plantation drive. Similarly the concerned formations have been directed to complete cleanliness and maintenance work at the earliest. All these decisions were taken and directions issued during a meeting held at CDA Headquarters on Wednesday. Chairman Capital Development Authority chaired the meeting. Senior officers of Capital Development Authority attended the meeting which was held to review development work at Park Enclave. It is pertinent to mention here that Park Enclave-I was launched back in 2011. Successive administrations of CDA overlooked its development. Incumbent CDA administration which is committed to provision of housing facilities in Islamabad according to vision of the Prime Minister decided to expeditiously complete development work at Park Enclave-I and to expand the project. Resultantly after completion of development of development work at Park Enclave-II is also going to start while phase-III is also being planned exclusively for middle and lower income groups. In this way CDA is trying to cater housing needs of all income groups in Islamabad. Development work at other long neglected residential sectors in Islamabad has also resumed.
