Police gunned down four terrorists Sunday who were involved in the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team and Moon Market suicide blast in Lahore. According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), seven to eight terrorists opened fire at the anti-terror squad Mian Town Burj near Ring Road here in Lahore. An exchange of fire took place between the two parties in which four terrorists were killed. Four other terrorists managed to escape from the scene. The slain terrorists were identified as Zubair alias Naik Mohammad, Abdul Wahab, Adnan Arshad and Ateeq-ur-Rehman. Their bodies were shifted to a morgue after the encounter. CTD officials stated the four terrorists were involved in 2008 Moon Market suicide explosion and the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team attack in 2009.
