Dadu: Kheer Thar Ranges Mountains Bado hills from Taluka Sehwan Sharif to Gorakh hill station in Taluka Johi along Sindh- Balochistan border Sunday received heavy rain and water level started rising in Manchhar Lake. About 12 big and small nullahs are overflowing and people living in Kachho belt face hardships. Irrigation authorities told Daily Times that Manchhar lake water level was rising slowly. Heavy rain was recorded at Kheer Thar Ranges and Gorakh hill station, Sodo Bodo, Karo mountains. At least 16 feet high water has flown into Nai Gaaj Nullah, which cut communication of some 150 small and big villages of Kachho belt in Dadu district.Rain at Bado hills in Taluka Sehwan and Nai Naing Sharif, also raised water level in Manchhar lake. Rain water began to flow into 10 more small and big nullahs in Dadu and Jamshoro districts. In Dadu town drainage and water supply system failed and rain water over flowing on roads and streets. The towns include Dadu, Johi, Sita Road, Radhan, Nau Goth, Mehar, KN Shah in Dadu district, Bhan Syedabad, Arazi, Lucky Shah Saddar. Sann of Jamshoro district also received heavy rain.
