The president of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump, has been strategically politicizing the pandemic coronavirus, apparently to improve his weakening popularity among the voters, for the upcoming election. To fetch the second presidential four-year term, the incumbent president has been seen launching a scathing attack on China during routine White House briefings. Trump continues to accuse China of not providing the actual data of coronavirus that emerged from Wuhan, the Capital of Hubei state. And, at the same time, Trump appears little reluctant to spare even the US media, especially the New York Times, for allegedly spreading fake news. It would not be wrong to jump to the conclusion that Trump is obsessed with his 2nd term re-election in November 2020, which he had been presuming as his easy victory, particularly under the impact of COVID-19. Inconceivably, Trump continues to play politics, despite the fact the US is struggling badly, having the highest number of deaths. One must understand that the US, through its false propaganda, is trying to hook its own people and powers around the world to toe its line of action on the emergence and spread of coronavirus The US has miserably failed to handle the coronavirus spread into its major cities especially, New York, the financial capital of the country. First, it accused China as an originator of coronavirus and addressed it as China Virus and then, suddenly detached China from the virus. During meeting with his health advisers and medical experts in his Oval Office, he proposed the 2nd name Wuhan Virus as reported by the New York Times. Fearing stoppage of pharmaceutical supplies and other self-protection equipment for US health workers from China, in a wiser state of mind, both the names of the virus were given up, but by that time some US newspapers have already started using these two names of virus attributing to Trump statements. But the reaction of China to these accusations was that US military personnel visited Wuhan, brought the virus, and dropped it into Wuhan, the so-called epicenter of the coronavirus. Keeping in mind that the booming US economy would help him win elections, he did not favour lockdown of the country, but still selected cities were put under lockdown. The day the news corona killed 2,000 in one day in New York hit the TV channels, the president immediately agreed to extend the selected lockdown in New York. He continued talking about opening the economy despite unfavorable suggestions by his health advisers. He continued blaming China as a part of the propaganda and even went to the extent of punishing China for the spread of the killing virus. Even he talked of recovering damages from China for the loss of lives in the US. China did not care much for eccentric verbosity of Trump and continued supplies of lifesaving and self-protection equipment for health workers all over the world. China supplied three billion masks worlds over. Inside China, the country has been open to the public and free Metro train service was allowed so that more and more Chinese move out of their houses. Restaurants and shops were also allowed to open but with a caveat to follow the social distancing and use of masks for everybody. Universities, colleges, and schools have been opened in China. Over and above all this, it has dismantled two 1,000-bed temporary hospitals established in Wuhan; the city of 11 million people was relieved from lockdown. This is big an achievement of China that in its 76-day non-stop lockdown of the state of Hubei. The Hubei is China’s industrial town and a hub for manufacturing cars and its accessories for export. With the loss of the highest numbers of lives (deaths 51,949, cases 905,333 recovered 99,079 as on 25th April 2020 according to JHU) in the world from coronavirus in the US and still rising, it is for the first time the world is seeing the US, a superpower, on its knees, and making attempts to shift the blame on China for its increasing deaths and absolute failure to tackle it. If one compares the work done in Wuhan in China and New York, one feels that the US is no more a world power but it is China which appears more confident to open lockdown. Many columnists in India have already declared China as the new super world power. Coming back to the US, a research-based survey by Northeastern University, Boston, published in the New York Times on 23 April and carried in some eminent Indian newspapers have exposed the US Presidents for his accusation against China for not disclosing the real picture of the pandemic in February 2020. Dr Alessandro Vespignani, director of the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University in Boston, who led the research team stated in early February – while the world focused on China – the virus was not only likely to be spreading in multiple American cities, but also seeding blooms of infection elsewhere in the United States, the researchers found. Outbreaks were also undetected in Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle, long before testing showed that each city had a major problem, according to a model of the spread of the disease by researchers at Northeastern University who shared their results with The New York Times. Yet another finding by Dr Heguy’s team and another at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai have found through genetic analysis that the seeds of most infections in New York came from multiple locations in Europe, rather than directly from China. There are other signs that the outbreak was worse at an earlier point than previously known. This week, health officials in Santa Clara County, Calif., announced a newly discovered coronavirus-linked death on February 6, weeks earlier than what had been previously thought to be the first death caused by the virus in the United States. One must understand that the US, through its false propaganda, is trying to hook its own people and powers around the world to toe its line of action on the emergence and spread of coronavirus. As it (USA) did in Iraq by spreading lies (President Bush Jr) that it carries weapons of mass destruction, though the UN inspectors did not find any of them, but it had bombard Iraq. It did the same in Vietnam and for 18 long years it kept its presence in Afghanistan, now trying to withdraw its forces by surrendering to the same Taliban. Again, it has refused to recognize agreement that the US’s had with Iran, (his predecessor Barack Obama) and have now imposed sanctions there. US also killed its top military commander Qasem Soleimani in a drone attack. Moreover, in one of the harshest actions in years between the United States and Pakistan, the Trump the administration moved to block an estimated $2?billion in military assistance at the end of a week that began with the president accusing the Pakistanis of years of “lies & deceit”, according to The Washington Post. Currently, it has been creating ways or alibis to break its business deals with China. It has been attempting to tape-in India to jointly work anti-China, the rising Super world economic power. It would be in India’s interests not to follow US-built anti-China grouping, because China is far away from the USA but is India’s next-door neighbor.
