LAHORE: Wary of another setback Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) Chairman has confirmed that in addition to his usual demand for everyone to be hanged to death, he will be asking for complete reimbursement of his Toronto-Lahore return air ticket, if his latest inquilab fails.Talking exclusively to Khabaristan Times, Qadri highlighted the atrocities committed against him personally, by the illegitimate and inconsiderate government of Pakistan.“I have returned just to share and implement my refreshed inquilab,” Qadri told Khabarishtan Times following another mighty show at Mall Road. “You see there is cold in Canada and you can easily freshen up your revolution up there. It is same like keeping your vegetables fresh in the refrigerator,” he added.“It is all about the cold,” he clarified. While answering a question about his last visit when his airplane was stuck at the airport Qadri confirmed that it was not like he didn’t want to come out. “It was the AC in the plane which was right above my head and I loved it,” he said. “That was the simple reason. I don’t know why media created a chaos out of it.”Tahirul Qadri confirmed again that the government is about to go. “Or else I will go to Canada again. Because it is not fair, they are not giving me my turn,” he sulked. “They must consider that every time I have to come from Canada and that is not near at all. Let me tell you, it cost you an expensive ticket. Not only that, it is a long journey. I usually get jetlagged, but Pakistan’s rulers still don’t consider my sacrifices and pains,” he added.“And so the least I should expect is the reimbursement for my ticket for all my efforts.” Qadri added that in case the ticket price for his annual trip is added to the fiscal budget for the coming year, he might reconsider dethroning the government. “The new government might just undo the revision in the budget, and I don’t want to be chasing prime ministers all over again for gains of 3 years’ worth of revolutions.” This satire originally appeared in Khabristan Times and reproduced with permission.
