Ever since Meghan Markle became a member of the royal family in 2018, she has been unfairly criticized for breaking royal protocols. Critics have been accusing Meghan of breaking the royal protocol by having worked for the voiceover gig while still a member of the royal family. Meghan had reportedly wrapped up the voiceover Elephants back in fall while the film will release on Disney+ on April 3. Although she is still being blamed, royal expert Charlie Lankston recently explained that the Duchess hadn’t really broken any rule. While royal family members are only permitted to work with charities, Meghan made sure that to not accept even a penny from Disney but instead directed her paycheck towards a charity in Africa. Notably, this project took place before Meghan officially stepped down as a member of the Royal Family. The trailer reveals: ‘Elephant, narrated by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, follows one family’s extraordinary 1000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives.’ Elephant will follow one African elephant named Shani and her son Jomo as they head off across the Kalahari Desert with their herd, and the movie will feature on Disney’s new streaming service Disney Plus.
