Sir: In Sindh, lockdown is necessary because for the past three days the nation has been left confused especially who stay in Sindh province whether a proper lockdown will be implemented or not, the outbreak of the coronavirus has left Sindh and the federal government in a clash. Sindh Chief Minister and his all team playing a great role in handling the pandemic disease coronavirus and one day ago, the chief minister had ordered all shops, restaurants, mega malls and kind of public gathering places to be closed to avoid the spread of the contagious virus while on the other hand whereas PM Imran khan requested the nation to look after themselves with no lockdown. In a supporting statement, Sindh Governor who is affiliated with the federal government requested the Sindh government to decline the lockdown because of daily wagers and current economic crises of Pakistan but both governments also announced that they have taken necessary steps to support their strategies. Now some committees of the nation are confused and worried about whether to continue with the normal routine or put a halt for a few days. The government of Pakistan should take serious steps to counter this dangerous and deadly virus while looking at all aspects. MUHAMMAD HAIDER Karachi
