On the professional front, Vidya has never shied away from experimenting with new genre or roles. All her characters are quite distinctive from each other. During an interview with Bombay Times when Vidya said that she loves to explore new subjects and characters. “I get bored very easily. I have this need to continuously do different things and explore subjects and characters that have not been tapped, yet. I try to interpret them my way. That keeps the actor in me excited and raring to go at all times”, the actress averred.
