Capt. A. Moiz Khan, patron in chief, North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (Nkati) and Naseem Akhtar, president, expressed deep concerns over the diagnosis of the Coronavirus in Karachi. In a statement, Nkati leaders said that Coronavirus is a deadly virus, so the government must immediately enforce medical emergency in the province to prevent the spread of the disease. As a precautionary and anti-virus approach, Pakistan is required to temporarily close the Irani border. Capt. A. Moiz khan and Naseem Akhtar further said that quarantine camps should be set up at the airport, Sindh province’s internal and external routes to diagnose the virus and staff should be equipped with modern equipment so that no laziness of virus diagnoses be made. They said that the industrialist community is showing patience even though import of raw materials from China has been suspended, the industries are facing difficulties in continuing production activities due to unavailability of raw material according to demand, while locally available raw materials prices increased. Nkati leaders appeal the federal government to take secure measures to combat Coronavirus in order to save the lives of people.
